Jason Moran + The MOROCCAN Project
LINES Ballet continues to innovate movement around original music compositions + revive passion for cultures across the world.
Jason's work has been referred to as "visionary".
He has described his experience watching the LINES company as a "breakthrough".
Personally, I can't wait to see what unfolds when two entities of virtuosic talent unite.
On one hand you have the LINES dancers representing movement & the embodied metaphysics of King's choreography.
On the other you have Moran and his quartet, honoring the traditions of jazz while boldly pushing forward.
The result will be nothing short of dynamic.
Moran will also give a post-performance talk on Sunday.

With live music by El Hamideen (oud + violin), the LINES dancers explore both grounding energy + the beauty of flight.
