Target Family Day is downtown San Francisco's biggest day-long family block party with FREE admission to four leading museums, special art activities for kids and free performances on three stages.
In the salon at the Museum of the African Diaspora, Rashad Pridgen will give a glimpse into the personal movement vocabulary he's developed over the last 15 years and the style which will influence his choreography for DANCEfirst! Visioning the Future on December 17.
With roots in underground dance culture, AFRO HOUSE HOP builds on the stylistic forms of Pan-African dance, the soul of deep House and the momentum of Hip-Hop. This unique blend of Diasporic styles will explore the foundations of House dance and include a choreographed combination to help you expand your own sense of movement and rhythm.
