YAK is a production team of young filmmakers leading the Youth UpRising Media Literacy & Production program in East Oakland. We are dedicated to youth-led multimedia production which provides a voice for resistance and an alternative to played-out mainstream media.

YAK is Yoram Savion from France and Kash Gaines from the USA and Anybody participating in our vision and creations.

At its core, YAK is a two man wrecking crew built to use every form of expressive multimedia to share the voice of youth in urban America and promote change on every level.
