TRUTH + BEAUTY is an evening-long journey of three artists through music, movement + spoken word. Dancer/choreographers, Sheena Johnson + Yeni Lucero, + vocalist Valerie Troutt merge city + town, African + Latina, + modern + traditional in three intensely personal expressions of what it means to each of them to be a woman. Each of these unique + emerging female artists speaks through their own medium to make vivid the stories we know but rarely see out loud.
